The Ushiku Diabustsu bronze statue is one of the worlds tallest statues. It was completed in 1995, and is located in Ushiku, Japan. Ushiku Diabustsu statue stands at 394 feet tall including its base. Inside the statue there are four levels and an elevator that takes you up through the levels to an observation floor that is 85m of the ground. The observation floor is located at the chest level, if you look closely at the pictures you can see the three slit like windows. Each level serves as a kind of museum. Below is a quick description of each level.
Level 1, Infinite Light and Infinite Life
The first floor lobby is dark, and as you enter new age music floats toward you from the darkness. In the center of the room a single shaft of light shines from above onto a cauldron of smoking incense. If you walk past that you’ll find the elevator to the other floors.
Level 2, World of Gratitude and Thankfullness
Mostly dedicated to scribe studies
Level 3, World of the Lotus Sanctuary
3000 samples of gold Buddha statues can be seen
Level 4, Room of Mt. Grdhrakuta
