It’s a bird! It’s a plane! No it’s Super Dog!!

With the dog days of summer gone and winter just around the corner I thought this picture of this bull dog cooling off on a bed of ice would be a good reminder of of the warmth of summer.

It is just horrible when people let their dogs run loose and then they attack the local ducks. I am just glad that the ducks are OK and didn’t need any medical treatment.

Damn that dog!

I have seen people taking their dogs for a ride in their vehicles before, but I have never seen anything like this. I don’t know where these pictures were taken, probably somewhere overseas. I can’t image the police here in the USA letting someone mount a dog house on the underside of their tanker truck. It is kind of a neat idea and I bet the dog sticking it’s head out from the dog house going down the road gets a lot of double takes.

This bizarre creature is called a Racoon Dog (Nyctereutes procyonoides). The Racoon Dog which is neither racoon nor dog but is considered part of the canid family, just like dogs and wolves. These bizarre looking creatures can be found in parts of east Asia like China, Korea, Japan, and southeastern Siberia.
