The Worlds Largest Helicopter

This is the Russian Utsky, it is the worlds largets helicopter. I takes a crew of 6 people to support this helicopter. 1 cargo engineer, 2 mechanics, 1 navigator, and 2 pilots. This thing is simply massive at over 40 meters long. The Utsky is able to carry a wide range of equipment and vehicles. Here are some of the things that can fit inside the worlds largest helicopter: 75 people or troops, a dump truck, or a semi trailer just to name a few.

The Utsky helicopter has a massive engine that consumes over 2000 liters of fuel per hour, and propels the eight 2 foot wide blades with enough force to blow around rocks up to 12 inches in diameter!

Don’t expect to be taking a ride in the Utsky any time soon unless you have very deep pockets, at a cost of $30,000 per hour to rent, I think I will stick with the $200 tourist helicopters!
