I have never seen anything like this before, and I can’t believe it hasn’t had a ton of coverage on the Discovery Channel.
This video is of the 1993 Pantai Remis landslide in Malaysia. This mind blowing landslide is what happens when you have a huge open pit tin mining operation to close to the ocean. What the hell were they thinking?
In the picture below you can see the new cove that was created by the landslide and subsequent sea intrusion. If you want to check it out for yourself this Google Earth image can be found at (100°36′21.32″E, 4°25′18.85″N):
