22 Dogs In Car

Texas authorities found 22 dogs in a car today. According to the Pottsboro, Texas police an unidentified woman locked herself inside of her station wagon with 20 dogs and 2 puppies. Texas police who were originally at the scene to serve papers which authorized the seizing of the dogs, were finally able to remove the woman.
Inside the station wagon they found 20 dogs, 2 puppies, a pot of water, several blankets, urine and feces. Courtney Stevens, the Texas rescue and investigations supervisor for the SPCA (Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals), remarked in a news release that the station wagon was “soaked with urine and covered in feces.” Stevens then remarked that “the ammonia level in the vehicle was 23 parts per million even after the doors had been opened for several minutes.” Humans begin experiencing health problems at 12 parts per million.
So far the unidentified woman, has not been officially charged because she was not coherent at the time she was taken into custody.
